Trainer's Notes: built for distance and seems to prefer turf. Only race over a mile was on dirt... Run him carefully over long distances and hope lightneing strikes twice ::glances over at Enigma in his paddock:: Maybe Jim's impatience will mean good things for us.

Owner's Notes: We have distance dirt horses in Cop and Rev and a Turf Sprinter in Enigma so it's high time we added a distance turfer. I would have preferred a filly, but I think Goldie will work out well. Hutton's last flip our way netted a Show in a G2; let's see how this one goes.

"couldn't help myself had to check results to see if history was made this weekend at PF. Heat Seeker won the St. Leger and in doing so he has become the first 3yo colt to take out the English Triple Crown. He did it in fantastic fashion breaking the World Record and maintaining his unbeaten record of 10 starts for 10 wins and 8 G1 wins to boot.

He is a super champion what else can be said.

A $1 million bonus on top put icing on the cake.

By winning the English TC he won the 2000 Guineas (8f) by 8.4l, The Derby(12f) by 15.55l and St. Leger (14f) by 15.2. So he won the English TC by a total aggregate of 39 lengths. Spectacular..I am clapping my hands here."

Media Notes:

A daughter of the Ribot line stallion Java Gold, Worldwide Elsie was bred in Kentucky, in the United States, before being sold in Ireland for 10,000 Irish guineas.

Unlike Helenus, she had a busy two-year career, running eight times, winning three minor races in England, including one at Wolverhampton by 12 lengths.

However, the best description English form publication Timeform could come up with for her was "a tall useful filly", giving her a low rating of 76. After a further seven unplaced starts, as a three-year-old, a stud career beckoned and she returned to the US, where she was bought by Widden.
